38 Week Pregancy Pic and Some Updates

Well, I am actually 39 weeks and 2 days but here is a pic of me at 38 weeks. I don't think much has changed ;)

I have gained quite a bit this pregnancy. I won't even say how much I weigh. I don't think I have even posted anything about this pregnancy, have I? I think Mariah kind of announced it. We are having another girl. Her name is Lily or Lilly, can't decide which way to spell it. I think I like double "ll" best. David had said he liked the single l, but now seems to have no recollection that he ever said that, lol.

I have been trying to get the house in order, you know, "nesting". I can never seem to get enough done. It's like the only way I will be truly happy is if everything is perfect before she is born. I know that isn't realistic, but at least it makes me work on those things I have put off for so long. The girls have been such a huge help with this.

It's so cute to see Sophie hug my belly and talk about "Yiyee" (her l's sound like y's). She says she loves her and wants to hold her, so sweet.  We have watched a few birth type shows and she doesn't seem freaked out by the women screaming and she gets all excited to see the new baby. But, I still don't know that she could handle seeing me give birth. It seems I always scream right at the end (if it wasn't on video I don't think I would even remember).

Since I don't have a huge tub this time around, we have a birth pool. It is blown up, ready to go, we just have to add the liner when the time comes. I wonder if things will be like last time, water breaks, baby is here less than 3 hours later. I just want the pool to get filled with enough hot water. I really like having a water birth. I have alternated between being a little scared and not feeling scared at all. I think I am more scared of the afterpains. No one ever talks about those (maybe selective memory?). They seem to be worse than labor. At least labor has an ending and you get a baby out of it. Afterpains can last weeks and are worse every time your nurse. You can't help but think "I already went through labor, I shouldn't still be having this much pain!" Last time I had some Afterease, but found out I wasn't taking it nearly often enough. I plan to combine that with ibuprofen. I think I did that last time too, but probably not enough or often enough. We'll see if it helps.

As I was getting out baby clothes, Sophie wanted to try on some of them. I told her they were too small, but she insisted:
