We had Thanksgiving at our house this year. It was our first holiday hosted in our new house. We invited both of our families and here are some of the pics from that day. It was a day of giving thanks, eating, playing, riding the four wheeler, eating, talking, drinking hot chocolate, and did I mention eating?
We tried to have a campfire since it was the first real cold front of the year (remember we live in south eastern Texas), but along with a cold front came rain. So after several attempts to sit out there we settled for sitting on the porch in the freezing weather so we could have an excuse to have coffee and hot chocolate. Coffee for all the grown ups but me, and hot chocolate for all the kids and me, oh and Sarah. She's sort of a grown up....
Overall, it was a pretty good day. I wish I had gotten more pics, esp. of my family since we always seem to forget to take them. I think it's because they hate to be in pics, just like me. Or maybe the men are like David and have little patience for standing there trying to get the perfect picture. Did I mention I had to track David down and force him to come in for pics like 5 times? Maybe if he had stayed there longer than ten seconds I wouldn't have had to call him so many times ;) I think that man has ADD or something. But, I still love him and wouldn't trade him for the world. :D

Tiffers Joy! I love all the pix. It looks like y'all had a good time. I'm so happy for you. Mariah and Livia look like they are channeling each other with choice outfits. I'm gonna make that girl love vintage,dresses and heels if it kills me I say!!!! Its so funny to read about having a hard time catching hubby for pictures. Usually, I give you know who a dirty look and make my mumbling for his ears only and just like that,I can say cheese with a big smile, Like i never got made in the first place. Then I hope to get the one family pic where we are all looking at the camera,all smiling and one where I look thin. Is that to much too ask? Christmas is only one time a year. Tell the girls they are all beautiful for me. And btw,you look really good girl. Tell me your secret......pleeeease;))) P.s call me, I have lots to tell you. Yes there is more. p.s again,I love were you put the tea above the door.

Roc, LOL about the dresses and heels! And I don't think it is too much to ask, but apparently it is *sigh*. ;) Although, we got a pretty good one at Christmas I'll be posting today or tomorrow. I'll try to call you real soon.
